Hi-Tech Plumbing & Air in West Palm Beach, Florida is looking to grow again! We are currently accepting applications for Dispatchers & Customer Service Managers. The role of this company position is organizing the schedules for service technicians each day and acting as a dispatcher for technicians for new and finished service calls.

Responsibilities of a dispatcher and customer service manager include:

  • Being the first person callers talk to about service inquiries and warranties.
  • Turning customer statements into actionable information about the issue and how we can fix it.
  • Schedule our service technician jobs throughout the day and dispatch them accordingly.
  • Manage all records and lists of part orders, pending and received.
  • Regularly discuss current and upcoming appointments with other service managers.
  • Responding to customer complaints and responding to them appropriately.
  • Create new job quotes and send to requesting clients.
  • Assist with in-office tasks as needed.
  • Using computer software to optimize organization.

The objectives of this position are:

  • Overseeing all customer service representatives to ensure top workspace efficiency.
  • Organizing our scheduling board so dispatching and technician work is optimized.
  • Increasing sales by managing outbound calls and coming up with new ideas to generate leads.

The greatest candidates for this job title will meet the following prerequisites and have the following skills:

  • Two years of dispatch experience, preferably working with plumbing, HVAC, and home service industries.
  • Impressive ability to schedule and organize your own time and that of others.
  • Highly skilled in computer use — such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel — as well as email and phone communication.
  • Capable of adapting to and working in a high stress environment without immediate supervision.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Passes drug and background checks.

  • $20.00 to $25.00 hourly wage, depending on experience
